Wool Peplum Blazer
The cold is arrived and I finally made my first blazer!
Some weeks ago I bought 2 meters of this wool, but didn't know if I will used it or not (often I buy a lot of fabrics but I don't know what sew with it).
Few days later I bought Burda Young & Easy magazine and I fell in love with all the jackets and coats in it. But I had to choose a jacket that would be my first outerwear made by my own.
At the end I chose the peplum blazer 1B, mine would have been a heavy wool blazer perfect for the coldest months.

Il freddo è arrivato e finalmente ho realizzato il mio primo blazer!
Qualche settimana fa ho comprato 2 metri di lana, senza sapere se l'avrei mai usata (molto spesso compro tessuti senza sapere per cosa utilizzarli, solo per il gusto di accumularli).
Qualche giorno dopoho comprato la rivista Burda Giovane & Easy e mi sono innamorata di tutte le giacche e i cappotti presenti in essa. Ma dovevo decidere quale sarebbe stato stato mio primo capospalla realizzato completamente da me.
Alla fine optai per la giacca con baschina 1B, la mio sarebbe stata più calda e più pesante di quella in foto, perfetta per i mesi più freddi.

Mini dress of the last summer!
A few days ago I found this pictures on my Mac that I forgot to publish on my blog! LOL :)
I love this dress even if it's so mini... I made it with two different fabric: a silver one and a torquoise with silver pois, they are perfect together because the second one regain the same color of the first in the pois.
I think that dress is so fresh and cool, perfect with a tunnel skin.

Qualche giorno fa ho trovato queste foto nel mio Mac che avevo dimenticato di pubblicare sul mio blog! LOL :)
Io adoro questo vestito anche se è molto mini... L'ho cucito con due stoffe differenti: una argentata e una turchese con dei pois argentati, questi due tessuti sono perfetti insieme perché il primo tessuto riprende lo stesso colore dei pois del secondo.
Io penso che questo vestito sia molto fresco e bello, perfetto con un po' di abbronzatura.

I wanna flowers in my life!!! Floral midi skirt!
I have finally finish it!
The MUST-HAVE of this year is the midi skirt, I talked about it few day ago it in this post:
When I bought this fabric I was completely fall in love of its color and flowers, as you know I love floral fabric then I decided to sew something new.
With only 70 cm of fabric I made a midi skirt with pockets, this is the benefit of being small :) I'm very happy with the end product!

Il MUST-HAVE dell'anno è la gonna midi, ne ho parlato qualche giorno fa in questo post:
Quando ho comprato questo tessuto mi sono innamorata del suo colore e dei e dei suoi fiori, come ormai sapete io adoro i tessuti floreali quindi decisi di cucire qualcosa di nuovo.
Con soli 70 cm di tessuto sono riuscita a fare una gonna al ginocchio con tasche, questo è il vantaggio di essere piccola di statura :)
Sono molto soddisfatta del prodotto finito!

Pois Skirt!
The summer is ending and this make me sad! Though this year in Italy there was not a real summer because it rained often. But I can't complain because I have sewn a lot of things in last months. :)
Now the holidays is finished and I must back to work, to the University and to sew all that promises a long and exhausting year.
The things that make me feel happy are wearing my new handmade clothes ! :)
Well this new item is a pois skirt, I love the fabric because it's so thin and fresh and the color is amazing.

L'estate sta finendo e tutto ciò mi rattrista! Anche se in Italia, quest'anno, non c'è stata una vera e propria estate, perché ha piovuto spesso. Ma non mi posso lamentare perché ho cucito un bel po' di cose negli untimi mesi. :)
Ora le vacanze sono finite e io devo tornare a lavoro, all'università e a cucire e tutto ciò promette una anno lungo e faticoso.
Ma mi rende felice sapere che posso indossare dei nuovi abiti fatti a mano! :)
Allora questo nuovo capo è una gonna a pois, amo il tessuto perché è leggero e fresco e il colore mi fa impazzire.

MIDI SKIRT: MUST-HAVE OF THIS SUMMER!
There's no question that the midi skirt is the most-have of this summer and probably it will be the same for 2015. The midi skirt has the hemline location approximately below knee or mid calf.
Non c'è ombra di dubbio che la gonna midi è il must-have di quest'estate e molto probabilmente lo sarà anche per il 2015. La posizione dell'orlo della gonna midi si trova approssimativamente appena sotto il ginocchio o a metà polpaccio.

Blue Taffeta Dress!
When I saw this this fabric for the first time I fall in love with it.
Taffeta is a beautiful fabric, because of its light effect ( in the last two pictures you can see the different light effect ) but it's so difficult to sew.
You must to use a thin needle, to leave no trace on the fabric. You can not make mistake! For the neckline I used a blue lace.

Blue Peplum Top!
This is my first peplum top, for make it I used a quite sustained cotton fabric.
I still can't believe that it came so well!!! :)
I made the pattern for this top and I think I will make a lot of tops like this.

Questo è il mio primo top con baschina, per realizzarlo ho utilizzato un tessuto di cotone piuttosto sostenuto.
Non riesco ancora a credere che sia venuto così bene !!! :)
Ho disegnato io il cartamodello e penso che farò molti top come questo.

My Sweetheart Dress
For this dress I used a blue cotton fabric decorated by white roses, the fabric is a bit stretch. For the pattern I was inspired by a Burda Sweetheart pattern, but I made some modification.

Per questo vestito ho utilizzato un tessuto in cotone blu decorato con rose bianche, il tessuto è un po’ elasticizzato. Per il modello ho preso spunto dal cartamodello Sweetheart di Burda , ma ho fatto delle modifiche.

Velvet pencil skirt!
I love velvet, how you can see!!! :)
For this skirt I used a soft black velvet decorated with some lines.
This skirt is perfect for fall or winter, because of the fabric I used. Just wear it with suitable thighs and a shirt with long sleeves.
Although It is so difficult to sew, because it loses a lot of hair when you cut it and it slide under the sewing machine, I love it because its sophistication and its softness.
I'm confident that: I will make a lot of clothes with velvet!

Per questa gonna ho utilizzato un velluto piuttosto caldo, in modo da poterla indossare anche nei mesi più freddi con un maglioncino, un paio di collant e degli stivaletti.
Questo velluto è ricamato con delle cuciture orizzontali che lo rendono meno monotono.
Nonostante sia un tessuto molto difficile da cucire, per via dei peli che perde ad ogni taglio che si effettua e per il fatto che sotto la macchina da cucire risulta molto scivoloso, io continuo ad adorarlo per la sua eleganza e la sua morbidezza.
Di una cosa sono certa: farò tante creazioni con il velluto!

Grey leopard and black dress
I made this dress last winter but I wore it for my b-day in March.
It's made of grey leopard velvet and black velvet, the last one is a bit stretch.

Ho fatto questo vestito lo scorso inverno, ma l'ho indossato per il mio compleanno a marzo.
E' fatto con del velluto grigio leopardato e del velluto nero, quest'ultimo è un po' elasticizzato.
